So trying to pass smog I found this strange piece

being honest unless it’s really loud I will not hear Anything out of the ordinary over the modified exhaust, I was purchasing a fuel pressure regulator because i heard that it could cause a evap leak and checking the one I bought to see if it’s close to the one i bought and boom I see that giant crack also to note I have the lightest no CEL misfire and smell gas sometimes and only will get a CEL after setting the Evap monitor and when I do it’s a generic minor evap leak on a freeze frame it used to be 2 evap leaks but i replaced the intake evap vent valve this piece may cause a misfire aswell as a fuel pressure regulator leading me to believe that this may fix my smog issue on the evap monitor

Was that your only fail/DTC? Could you hear it?

My only DTC is P0440 generic minor evap leak on a computer freeze frame so a minor leak could just be this or a fuel line that’s rotted/not connected properly or my charcoal vent canister next to my tank which I need to install may be failing

I don’t particularly have interest in dropping the tank particularly after getting my fuel pump replaced not long ago to replace every single fuel line , evap line and fuel pump tank seal

That very well could be your problem. Good find and, if it fixes it, consider yourself lucky.
