Have spent a week and one roadtrip with a 2021 Yukon Denali.

My gripes:

* The parking sensors have way too many false alarms; e.g. firing off when pulling in or out of a mild, empty driveway
* Brake pedal is not adjustable
* Homelink Garage door openers work when off/locked/no key
* Plugged-in accessories will reboot when the auto start/stop kicks in; started a separate thread on that
* A seat position isn't restored for either key when entering (regardless of the entry setting)
* HDMI isn't reliably detected (a hotplug will always fix it)
* Can't see the HUD properly with polarized glasses
* The cargo liner accessory covers the handle to the only storage area in the cargo area

But there are too many things to list that I love about the car. An amazing road trip vehicle. A pleasure to drive.

Re: HUD, I’ve never had a vehicle with HUD that worked with polarized glasses. I keep a “driving pair” of non polarized in the car.

The 2 biggest things I see are the Homelink thing and the seat memory thing. Both of those show little thought or refinement. HDMI is a close 3rd.
The rest can be fixed/ dealt with. Would be interesting what a dealer/zone rep would say about these issues....

I have heard that the Lincoln Navigator HUD works with polarized shades. The HUD is really nice in this Truck I just cant see it as I typically only wear polarized glasses.

Also, I could not get homelink to work in this vehicle. Worked great in my 16 Yukon. To be fair my wife has 20 Lexus RX and we also cannot get homelink to work in that. zero issues in her old 17 Lexus GX (but that tech was really old). I am going to chalk it up to the 20 year old garage door openers.

The cargo liner accessory is bad. I am going to buy some 3m velcro to try and reinforce it. Toss a couple kids hockey bags in there and the thing comes undone.

Fyi....I still want fog lights. it is painful when I see every cheap car driving down the road with them. Hoping that some aftermarket guys are paying attention?

(fast blinking light to slow blinking) Then start the normal programming sequence with your garage door opener (hold down garage door opener button close to Homelink, while also holding down a Homelink button). Mine works perfect ever since I cleared it first.

>My media and HDMI ports work correctly, however I only use the Amazon Firestick. Miracast is a no-go.

Is the PACM some part of the ECU? Anything I can describe to the dealer to make things go smoothly?

Not sure you understood my issue - I think the homelink is working as designed. I just don't want it to function when the car is locked / off / no key, due to the security issue. I believe this is a common problem in many cars. I have an Audi where it only works when the car is on, and a Honda where it doesn't.

Not sure you understood my issue - I think the homelink is working as designed. I just don't want it to function when the car is locked / off / no key, due to the security issue. I believe this is a common problem in many cars. I have an Audi where it only works when the car is on, and a Honda where it doesn't.
