I sold my Porsche when I got the Tahoe. Not really as a replacement. My wife and I will be looking at a new 911 in the next year or so. I seriously miss my car, but I know we will replace it soon enough.

Oh how I know this feeling. I love that this Tahoe is cheap to fix. Oil changing in my Nissan runs about 65.00 fore to do myself. I can not bare using cheap parts. Thank god it shipped Friday to go back home to Hawaii and sit in my garage there. Though now I am looking at another Japanese VIP car to work on. The Tahoe just feels more fun to mod and work on. I hate working on any luxury car it is just such tedious work.

I'm a pilot, wife software programing geek. (but she's hot!) :)

There's a sweet picture of the 2 door in my garage with the 997 reflection in the side. I'll take more before her departure.

I love that I actually CAN work on my truck. Anything porsche engine related The entire thing has to be dropped out of the car.

I love that the katzkin group buy is 650$ for whole car leather. At a minimum the Porsche is 1$k to even get started on something. (recently bought tires for 1,700$)

Basically Tacboy told me I was being excessive and guilted me into selling it :emotions122:

I never had a problem working on my Cayman. The oil change took less than 30 minutes in the garage. The tires were expensive, mine were $1200. I never had to have anything done in the 3 years of ownership that required any out of pocket money, other than regular maintenance. Plus, I took it in to the dealer one time to check the wheel studs. They decided they wanted to change all of them for me, so they gave me a loaner...... a 2010 911.
