Some light bulb questions

I would like to swap out the fog and daytime running lights bulbs. Can anyone offer any particular? I ordered some LED bulbs for my reverse lites and fog light bulbs off ebay but got effed! The reverse bulbs dont fit into the housing and the fog light bulbs are purple (and I mean purple) with no output whatsover! Eventually I will do HID's in my fogs but for now need something white and bright! Same for the daytime running lights.

What about fitment issues? How do I know what fits?

Make sure you order the correct fitment for bulbs and LED's for fog's aren't going to be bright. Always read the reviews of the seller that your buying from to see if they are a good seller and for the reverse bulbs get the Cree bulbs, I hear that they are super bright.

So what do you suggest for fogs? And back to correct fitment how can I be sure? The only way it seems is to measure the diameter of the bulb. OR I guess I need a knowledgeable seller! lol

No, not what I mean.....I know the bulb number but the bulbs I bought the glass part of the bulb doesnt fit into the housing....it connect to the harness fine.
