Mark, very sorry to learn about this and all the related disruption, but glad they did not succeed.

The challenge going forward is that they, or someone like them, will try again.

Alarms can do but so much. Are you able to garage it? A garage won’t stop a determined thief, but it’s a significant, hardened layer of defense, and can keep the nice vehicle out of sight.....which can effectively pull your vehicle down below the effn thieves’ radar.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys. I'm just gonna start using a club on the steering wheel. That usually will keep them from even breaking in. I don't want Jimmy Jammers, I've seen the bodywork damage from them trying to get past those. I'd rather they pop a lock and get in, then see the club. The damage to the handle isn't hard to fix. They can always just pop a window anyway. And I know alarms have come a long way since I used to install them but I still hate them. Plus I'll be installing a LoJack so if they do actually take it, I can find them and exact my revenge.
Weakest part of the club is the steering wheel itself. You can cut through that in 10 secs.

I posted my comment before reading yours. Isn't there a club that also locks out the brake pedal?
There was one that used to go around the column and down to the brake pedal.... but that was on the round columns... I don’t know what tgey make now.

Anybody know of a good GPS tracker? Seems LoJack isn't available in my area. There's so much confusing info on the trackers.
