Got rid of the automatic headlights, hopefully to prolong the life of the HID's. Takes 4-5 minutes and its free.
The GIF is looped, it makes it look like the switch goes back to auto but it doesn't.

Yup, switch stays in the off position, so they don't come on at all with the key itself. My headlights on my PPV never came on with the fob, so can't vouch for that.That's all it takes- to remove the spring so the switch stays in the "OFF" position? Are they 100% off or do they still come on when you unlock it with the fob or turn the engine off and or take the key out, etc.?

Mine always worked.How did you get the automatic headlights to work, get the computer refreshed at the dealer, or did yours always work beforehand ?
That's right- you have that special BCM programming. Thanks for sharing the info! I'm surprised I haven't seen it before.
