I have my Tahoe completely gutted and am really wanting to know if it is a real benefit to do any sound dampening.

If so what would you recommend? I am mnot putting subs or anything like that in just want a quite enjoyable ride.

Thanks

x3 on the dynamat. Doesn't get much better than that! :waytogo: I went a different route with my '77 and regret it.

I have used the stuff from B-quiet.com, the dynamat stuff seems better, though more expensive.

I don't have a problem with road noise. I have problem with all the squeking my kon is having. If dynamatted right will all this squeking go away? Sorry for jacking this thread up.

yes, any exterior/interior will help dampen any sounds.
