Hope it gets better. Glad they admitted its not the way it should shift.I sent this video to the shop owner. He said it could be part of the “break in” but if it does it for the next couple days to bring it in.
After you mentioned shift solenoid I looked up symptoms and some matched so I asked about this and he said since it goes into gear out of park that indicates to him it’s not the shift solenoid.

After the rebuild I expected this thing to drive like new-at least transmission wise but it literally drives the same exact as before, of course before the planetary issue.
I talked about this issue before with my old trans that every once in a while the rpm would flutter between shifting gears. Not sure if this is the same as a slip? Anyways it did this every once in a while and I expected this to be gone after the rebuild but nope. Still fluttering between shifts. I think between 2 and 3.
