Spark plug and/or thermostat change before tune?

Those of you with remote tunes, did you change to cooler plugs and thermostat?

I have been reading and found one post mentioning a 180 degree thermostat and NGK plugs as being needed to take advantage of the tune.

Curious what others have done.

Don't change thermostat, no need.
As far as cooler plugs, yea its a good idea.
These engines knock their asses off with factory plugs while trying to push timing for power.

Me and my tuner (builder) NGK TR6 in every LS based engine and daily driver we build and tune. Helps stop the knock.
