Off the top of my head I can't remember, but .060 sounds correct. Just check your Fuel Emissions sticker on your fan shroud. It'll show spark plug gap.

Double platinum plugs (AC Delco) are supposed to be gapped at 0.060
NGK Iridium plugs are supposed to be gapped at 0.040.

In both cases, the plugs are supposed to be gapped correctly new out of the box and are not supposed to be changed.

Note: It is not recommended to gap Iridium nor Platinum tipped spark plugs without a proper gapping tool.
These type of plugs should be purchased pre-gapped or the proper gapping tool should be used. The proper gapping tool for spark plugs has a notch on it and the side electrode of the plug fits into that notch. With the side electrode in the notch, the gap distance can be adjusted. Those cheap disc type of "gap tools" that 99% of people use for gapping plugs is not a gap adjuster at all.....it's merely a tool to measure the gap distance. Many people use that cheap measuring tool to adjust the gap distance and it DOES work on older conventional type of plugs, but this is TOTALLY the wrong way to adjust platinums and iridiums.
