Spark plug question

i just bought my first yukon yhis past weekend, so i have yet to do any plugs. when i replaced them on my ram i took cai out and climbed up into the engine bay. it was a pita. this swivel extension was recommended. it was a life saver. cant imagine the struggle without it. like $12 on amazon. not sure if it helps any on these yukons/tahoes.

I'll repeat a comment I saw when I did my plugs that saved me a bunch of frustration... On my 2010 5.3l, the #8 plug was a breeze with a short 3/4" socket stuck over the back of the spark plug socket. It was just the right length to clear everything.
