HAHAHAHAHA with a lot of swearing, a little knuckle blood, and some added patience....

that is the one that pisses everyone off, just keep playing with different combination's of ratchet sizes and depths and such, it DOES come out.

im still trying to get the wire off......lol.

i have a plug wire boot plyers, but i can't get it into position on that one.

I used a pair of vice grips to get that plug wire off. Be careful not to squeeze too tight. The main thing for me was to get an angle on it for some leverage. It sucked and that is why it was last on my list.

I just did mine about 2 weeks ago and that's was the one that pissed me off. I ended up jacking up the truck just enough to get the tires off the ground and reaching into the passenger side wheel well with the ratchet and getting it out through there and putting the new one in the same way.

i ended up using a $6 plug wire boot plyers, but i still cut my thumb open....lol

And THAT my friends, is why I use the OEM AC Delco iridium plugs. They are rated for 100K miles. I replaced my at 100K, and probably won't have to do it again for the life of the truck. Thank GOD...it's a PITA, as most of you know.

yes most people here are around 100k, which is why they are changing their pluggs... i wasnt planning on doing this again but since i am getting new wires i feel like i can drop $20 on a new set of plugs and be done with it.

I'll end up getting aftermarket wires for the 6.0 since I'll be running LT's with it, but for now I'm just running the stock wires. I replaced them last year when I did the plugs just for peace of mind. The old ones weren't too bad but I figured its one less thing to worry about if I did it then.

yea I'm going with some 8.5mm wires too, prepairing for the LT's
