The $600 job is at what labor rate per hour? I would guess at least $180 an hour, depending on what part of the country you are in. Lets say 2 hours labor is $360 leaving $240 for parts. Likely $15 each for plugs and that is $120 and that leaves $120 for plug wires. That all adds up to $600.I've wrenched on my own cars for years now. The Yukon is due for plugs and wires. Any common pitfalls to avoid? Any tricks to make the job simpler? Considering the dealership wants $600 for the job, I imagine it must be a PITA.
