Yeah, i want to do something different with my Tahoe on top of all of the other stuff I have already done to it. I want to add speakers under my Tahoe so I can play music outside my truck.

My plan is to use Marine speakers so they wont get ruined when they get wet. I also want to have a separate amp going to these speakers so I can have an on/off switch on the remote line to cut them on and off, and a "bass knob" on the rca's so I can cut their volume up and down separate of the inside speakers.

I'm going to be using CT Sounds 6.5" marine speakers. Guess how many speakers I will be putting under my truck this way?

*psst* The answer is 16 of them, and The 4 channel amp I will be using is a Skar 125.4 thats rated at 250 watt per channel @ 2 ohms, and is under rated.

My plan is to put 4 speakers per channel, 4 speakers in the front bumper, and 12 speakers where the spare tire went, all facing downwards.

So what does everyone think of this idea? You like it? Is it dumb as hell to you? And do you have any suggestions to make this even better?

Also, I already have all 8 pair of speakers, but the 8th set is at my friends house. Heres a pic of the other 7 sets though.

So YOUR the guy!!! Do what you want man, it's your rig. Me personally, it's just plain stupid. If it was rigging up something for tailgating or partying I could see that, but to be driving around intentionally forcing people to listen to your music???
With that said, don't bother with actual speakers, 4 p/a horns in the front, and 4-8 in the back.....don't ask, I wont tell.

I'm doing it for when I go to truck shows and car audio shows, I wouldn't play it while just going down the road lol. And PA horns have absolutely no sound quality compared to actual speakers in a sealed enclosure.

Get some Wet Sounds rev 10 and be done with it. Will sound much better than those CT Sounds and already have their own enclosure.

I’m heavy into the car audio. And speakers on outside and under your truck are soooo annoying at car audio shows. Literally everyone talks crap about the few people who are annoying blasting there music outside their trucks at car audio shows

Yeah these speakers?

If you can drop $1430 for 2 speakers then you have way more money than I do lol. But I'm putting the speakers up inside the body line so they are completely hidden, and these are so big, There would be no way to conceal them. Also, I got 16 speakers, with custom boxes built, the amp, and everything installed, for less than those 2 speakers. Also, my CT Sounds Marines will be way louder and have better sound quality than those.

I'm heavy into Car Audio also, I'm an IASCA Bass Boxing world champion, and when you do bass boxing, your music has to be heard outside the car. And when all of your doors are shut and all of your windows are up, that can be hard to do. Just 2 speakers would suffice, but why not do 8 times as many, ...just because. But I wouldn't play then 24/7, Just occasionally when someone wants to hear it, When I'm competing so it will pull in a crowd, or to shut people down using scratchy ass PA Horns at local truck shows lol. I'm respectful about my music and don't blast anything, mids or bass, when I'm in an inappropriate location.

I can promise you 2 of those rev10s will be louder, clearer, and project further than all of your CT sounds. And take up less space... but more power to you. I really can't fathom why you would need 16 speakers under your car... maybe 1 or 2 pair for what your wanting. But do what you like

Since it sounds like you already have it done. Let's at least see some pics of it

Honestly when I went to world finals in Alabama two years ago. When bassboxing would come up everyone would walk away from the lanes because the speakers on the outside of people trucks/cars were too annoying. Stupid to make bassboxing cars have speakers on the outside.
