Squeezing wider tires on OEM 22s

I just picked up a 2022 Yukon XL Denali for the new family car. It has 275/50R22 on black wheels. It looks good but the wife likes to hit curbs. Swapping her out is out of the question. My thought is to put wider tires on it. Anyone running 305/45R22 on OEM 22s? (same height will fit no problem) How about 325/40R22? This would eliminate the problem i'm sure, height is a little shorter which I don't care about, will actually make it perform better. Not sure about rubbing and how "buldgy" it will look on a 9" wide wheel. Hoping to see some pictures from y'all. I understand it is "not recommended" to put a 325 on a 9" wheel but many things I do are not recommended.

Not sure if you already made the switch but I just put some 22x9 Trail Boss 22s on my 22 Tahoe running 305 45 22 and they are perfect.

No rub or anything.

Go for it.

I put 305/45/22 toyo at3’s on wifes high country, fit just fine. No issues with rubbing. However they do not bulge much beyond the wheel really….doubt they would help all that much at curb checks.

I'd be more concerned about Mi pot holes hehe
