I know that this system is set to work all the time unless the driver presses the buttom to disable the system...I was taking an off ramp turn and I noticed the system working, because my brakes started to apply themselves...I have since upgraded my stock head unit to a Pioneer Z2. Ever since the newly upgraded stereo Ihave taken that same off ramp YET I did not notice the stabilitrac work this time.

Is it because of my new head unit?

Seems very unlikely, I haven't heard of such a thing. That system is very complicated, many sensors etc. I would put faith in a sensor going bad before I would a head unit.

Hahahahaha I thoght that was funny, are you sure your new stereo is not so loud that you don't really pay attention to the Stabilitrac system anymore?
I would say find a wet part of the road, then from a stop, slam the pedal to the floor and see if it comes on at that point I guess, mine does I know....

Does it flash "Traction Active" on the dash? If so, possible Speed Wheel Sensors. Mine does unless I I have disabled stabiltrac. Kinda bugs me but no big deal for now.

Mine has the stabilitrac active message come one sometimes in corners. Usually when there is gravel or sand on the corner.
