Help!! Had my 2012 Yukon XL in for inspection today. Was told that the left front stabilization bar was missing. They replaced both sides. Driving home from work tonight and my stabilitrak light/traction light on dashboard light up off. Read manual, waited 15 sec restarted truck and both still on. I have young children and I am afraid to drive it. I'm going to call the repair shop who fixed it first thing in am, but would feel better if I had an idea as to what may be wrong. Please Help!!

Sounds like they disconnected a sensor by mistake. I'd take it back to whomever worked on it.

So when I woke up this am, warning light was off. Within 10 minutes of driving, came back on. Brought it to repair shop, told me everything looked fine and they reset my computer. Said it could be a faulty sensor? This wasn't an issue prior to yesterday and them replacing the stabilization bars in front end. Could they have damaged sensor?

Bottom line is it worked before the shop touched the truck. It's on them to make it right. Don't let them charge you anymore.

So once again, warnings came back on while driving. Called shop, they spoke to mechanic who stated everything looked "ok" with the car and as far as they are concerned it isn't related to the work they did yesterday. I firmly told them that I disagreed. They suggested I take it to a more "specialized" mechanic who could further run diagnostics on the truck and that if it was deemed to be related to the job they performed, they would cover costs. They then proceed to give me a number of someone they recommended ( must have thought I was born yesterday) I told them I would be bringing it to my mechanic and that if he deemed it to be linked to them, they would be paying for parts and labor. They agreed I could bring it to my guy, so Tuesday it is going in. It amazes me how persistent they are that is was not related to work yesterday, but as stated, it wasn't a problem until they touched my truck....right, it's just a coincidence.....

Highly doubt it was just a coincidence. But, things like this happen all the time. You just have to be more persistent than them. Best of Luck!
