Starter Question?

I was wondering if anyone has changed the bendix and bushings on their starter. If so how hard is it? Any input would be appreciated trying to do this tomorrow morning. Thanks in advanced.

not hard but simpler to replace entire unit. is a good project tho.

Replaced it this morning simple and easy took me about an hour to replace bendix and both bushings. Paid $10 dollars for bendix and both bushings starts up right away doesn't have that heavy feeling any more.
