Hello ive got a 95 tahoe ive had it since july and did new ac delco plugs, wires, cap and rotor, fuel filter, thinking it might help but hasn't....when i first start it up or in the morning after it stitting over night it doesnt start right away it takes a few seconds and say i go down the road to the store and come out it fires right up, was just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if so what it was. The previous owner put on a new alternator and battery too, and the gas tank is always half full, thanks for the help

Maybe fuel pump. I had one do that. I also had one that started easy in the morning and was hard to start once the truck was warm.

check valve in the fuel pump is allowing fuel pressure to leak backdown into the tank. so when you go to start it after its leaked down for a few hours, it takes a few seconds to first build pressure back up to correctly supply the injectors.

easy test : turn your key to the on position without starting the vehicle. leave it there for 5-10 seconds. this will turn the fuel pump on, pressurizing the system.

id bet that if you do this, the car will pop right over first try.

yup that worked, I was hoping it wasn't the fuel pump, does anyone have a ballpark figure as to how much it might cost to get it replaced? gonna call around monday and see
