Steering Wheel Buttons doing different things...

I have an 05 Tahoe LT 4x4 and I replaced the steering wheel buttons this weekend since the lights were out in half of them. I left today for a small overnight trip only to find the new buttons don't actually do what they did before. For example, the volume buttons change tracks, but don't change the volume. None of them do what they did before so did I get the wrong buttons for the wrong model year or something like that? I got them from Ebay for like $39 bucks... Thanks for any insight you may have.

So it looks like I have the wrong buttons for my vehicle. I reinstalled the old buttons today and they work correctly. I reached out to the online store I purchased these thru and hope to hear back today. The add says they are for an 05 tahoe, but evidently they are not.
