The controls on the right side of the steering wheel don't light up. Do I need new switches or is there a changeable bulb inside?

If the paint is wearing off, new OEM buttons are good. The hardest part is removing and reinstalling the buttons. The easiest way involves removing the steering wheel.

I got a replacement steering wheel button on Ebay for like $20. I pulled out the old one with some small pliers. Once you take it out, disconnect the plug, put it in the new switch and push it into the spot.
Just checked, it was $18.24 shipped, Dorman brand.
