Based on the title of this thread, I obviously need an alignment, can't remember how long it has been since I had one done last.

Here my question now:

- As the truck is slightly pulling to the right, I need to correct that with the steering wheel, which is therefore now no longer "straight" and is slightly tilted to the left.

Will an alignment correct the steering wheel issue as well in order for it to be straight again after the wheels have been aligned, or does the steering wheel have to be removed and "centered" while re-installing?

Thanks in advance.

Even though an alignment place "should" look for it, when you take it in, make sure they know and they should be able to fix it. Hopefully it's not a broke/bent part that needs replacing.

Thanks very much Nathan.

What part could be bent or broken? I do not notice anything while driving/turning other than what I described above.

Also I would have never thought that this would end up in the ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN section, as I was really looking as to where I should post my question and could not find a better place than the General Discussion???

meh... steering and alignment would have to do with either engine/drivetrain or it could be suspension. If it was a steering box problem, it would be engine/drivetrain or a bent a-arm would be suspension.

:2cents:

Sounds good, was not trying to argue, just wanted to get educated so I will put it in the right place next time.

So, ........... Let me ask again, what could be broken?

No idea. But if everything was straight and now it's not, something has worn down, come out of adjustment, or been bent.

maybe someone with more mechanical skills then me can chime in...
