Steering wheel shakes at 70mph...

like 07burb said.. it might just be the tire tread, i neglected rotating my tires & when i did it had a lil vibration, did you change your wheels recently?

I would like to see if it is tire related but i will have to wait. The tires on there now still have 7/32nds so not much point in replacing them at this time.

And yes i cannot feel anything in the steering wheel. Its like the truck hits its resonant frequency at these speeds at develops a mild vibration. Ill see what else i can figure out.

No I have not changed wheels recently. I wish i could! Saving up for some 24's this summer.

Problem solved. rear u joints were shot. Truck drives smooth. no vibration at all.
