I have a 1999 tahoe 4x4 4 dr with 148k that has been the biggest money pit known to man. Once something is fixed it brings forth another problem.

I replaced the pitman, idler, gear steering box, sway bars, steering speed sensor (on the steering column), brakes, rotors, new rims, tires, and a alignment. Now believe me this truck drove horrible, I mean horrible, before I fixed all the above. Now it's so so and okay, however this truck has a jerk while Cornering. It's bad enough I almost lost control of it cornering 60 mph in the rain the other night with the family on board. Not fun. I can't imagine driving it in snowy weather this winter. It will jerk both ways and at any speed. I can almost guess when it's going to do it after putting 5 k miles on it, however sometimes it surprises me.

I've sunk way too much into this pit to sell it (bought it at $3000, $8000 total now) so I'm stuck with it for a few years. What do I have to replace next?

Everything you listed is basic maintenance items except the steering box. Unfortunately for you, it sounds like you've bought a truck that wasn't maintained.

The problem you are having now is a bad steering speed sensor.

I don't know what to tell you. If the front end is tight, you might have to put a another new sensor in it.

Yep I replaced it. That one is at a better price too. Steering is fine other than the jerk. Not tight not loose.

Disconnect the EVO sensor on the back of PS pump and drive around for a week or so; if the jerkieness is gone; problem is identifed. You can either live with no EVO assist(which is really full power assist at all times when EVO is disconnected) or locate a replacement sensor(NLA from GM) but can be found on rebuilt pumps from Cardone.
