stereo install help!!!

He guys i have an 01 chevy tahoe. I have a clarion vz409 dvd unit, i had it working but i had loose connections so im redoing it. Sounds fine but when i play cd i get only subs, i am also usiing factory amp as well. plus non bose. the only wirring i could find is basic plus it shows yellow and a lightblue wire whic i dont have. i have like 4 green two light green 4 brown one grey which is illum tan and one dark blue does anyone have a true schematic any help will be appreciated thanks.

sounds like your using the wrong trigger wire of the deck for the factory amp.. try the blue with white stripe from the deck to the pink amp trigger lead in the truck.

What brand is your wiring harness?

You need to get a test light in there. I think the trigger wire you need will be hot with the key on, off with the key off.

Sounds fine with radio? All speakers work? Then subs only with a CD? Sound like a head unit problem vs. a trigger wire problem. The trigger wire is pink. The other colors are speaker wires. Get a $10 metra harness. It's already color coded, except for the pink trigger wire for the factory amp.
