I have an after market unit in my 01Yukon and I am getting interference from my ignition. Is there a simple way to correct this.

Do you have HID's? Try turning them off and see if that makes a diff. You may have to relocate some wires or get better wiring/ballasts if they are the cause.

aftermarket amplifier?? If so you need to ground the headunit better or to the same ground that you used on the amp. Or check the amp ground, needs to be clean and a good solid ground. IE frame etc etc

if not an aftermarket amp, just sounds like you need to ground the headunit better.

battery is new and connections are clean. As for the ground it is tied into the original ground via adaptor. Maybe I should take the ground wire pre adaptor connection and find a new ground.
