Stock Autotride shock replacements..need help please.

Hey guys...I have a 2001 LT with Autoride. Everything is stock. My compressor kicks on every time I start the truck. Not sure if this is normal, or if it needs to be replaced.
Anyway...its time to replace everything, as the shocks seem extremely worn. 110,000 miles on the truck.
I noticed that A/C Delco has replacement shocks, front and rear, for the Autoride. I think I would trust them over a re-man'ed Arnott system, as the A/C Delco's are, to my understanding, new.
Can anyone please help me with the part numbers I would need for the front and rears A/C Delco's? I have tried to search Google and Amazon, and have a lot of different results.
For this kind of money...I want to make sure I get the correct parts.

Good question....I am not sure. Maybe someone can chime in and let us know.
I just figured I would go for A/C Delco because they are made new, and not remanufactured, like the Arnotts.

Arnott has new ones too. I bought their complete kit- new fronts, new rears, new compressor, and it came with a rebuild kit for the air dryer for the compressor. I'm real happy and the new parts come with a lifetime warranty. I did have issues with the front bypass resistor modules going bad (I think it was due to high heat from the exhaust manifolds due to my clogged cats) and after replacing them a couple times, I just wired in heavy duty resistors. Their new shocks don't have the electronic damping like factory ( thus the bypass modules) but I think they ride great. I'm running 26" wheels and lowered on my '02 Denali and they work great for me. Customer service was great too with the warranty issues with the resistors.

I did speak with an agent at Arnott today...and the shocks are all new aftermarket shocks manufactured in Florida. They carry a lifetime warranty from manufacturer defects.
The Tahoe kit is the KIT-0007 ($700.00 with compressor)...but it is a sports kit...its for a bit of a stiffer ride than the normal Autoride comfort. If you want the premium comfort...you have to go with the SK-2814 Front shocks and the AS-2700 Rear Shocks for the premium comfort ride. Just the shocks alone cost $917..without the compressor at $210 or Air Dryer at $50.00!!
SO...I will be ordering the Arnott KIT-0007 for my Tahoe....I am sure it will be a HUGE improvement over what I have now...stiffer ride or not. Hopefully after the tax return comes.
I will report back to let you know how it went, and the differences.

Well...I opted to go with the Arnotts, as a sales person told me, all their shocks, even the AutoRide replacements, are built brand new in their Florida shop. With a lifetime warranty, I went ahead and got them, figuring my Tahoe would ride like new.
They where put on this afternoon, and I just got back from picking the Tahoe up...and I can honestly say...I feel a bit of a difference in the ride...but not by much.
I am really hoping they just need to break in a bit...but so far, I am really disappointed in them. After spending over $450.00 on them...I would expect a night and day difference over the old, worn out OEM shocks...but I don't.
I will let them settle in, and I'll post back by months end to let you all know how they are then.
Hopefully they are much better.

Hey all....well the Arnott shocks are no better...so I called Arnott, and spoke with a couple of people. They seemed to think it is a ride height issue (not installed correctly....but I doubt this), or the compressor is shot, and not giving out the correct pressure for the rears..so I am basically riding on 2 coils.
So...I will be ordering the compressor, and installing that soon.
I will report back with the details.

Wow, sorry youre still having probs after ponying up to fix it. Im looking at the same issue as you if I buy the 2001 Yukon SLT Im looking at. The seller didnt even mention that it had a rear susp prob. I test drove it, felt the rear bottoming out on bumps, told him I had to think about it, went home and a couple Googles later called him back and asked point blank about it. He then confessed that he did know it had a rear air ride prob. Oh well, at least he agreed to drop 5 bills off the price to compensate.
