Anyone do this? Retrofit a new truck/escalade exhaust in an older truck(07)??? After working for Cadillac for a few years, I noticed the new Escalades have a pretty amazing looking stock exhaust system(the 6.2 versions).... I was wanting to adapt that to my 5.3 tahoe. I know I would loose some bottom end torque possibly but, it would be pretty efficient I would think plus work well with my turbo plans.
Anyone have a stock exhaust laying around? I actually do have everything BUT the stock muffler, which I thought about running and just buying a different muffler but,..I really don't want a loud daily driver,....I like this thing quiet so I can talk to people inside of it. My vette, we're screaming at eachother to talk.... I don't want anything remotely close to that.
