Stock Oil Pump vs SLP Ported

I have to replace my 2003 Tahoe's oil pump. Debating going with an SLP ported unit as they claim better oil flow,etc..

Tahoe is completely stock and has about 189k on it.

Is the SLP worth the extra cost?

Just get a LS2 oil pump along with the double roller timing chain from the LS2. Good oem upgrade.
