i tried that. i bent the tabs backwards and when i put it back in it did what i wanted. but when the car was on and the headlights were on, the chime was on. so i just took it back out.

Here's what I'd like to do.
1. Buzz when the key is in the ignition, not on "run", and door is open.
2. Not buzz when the key is on "run" and the door is open.
3. Buzz when my lights are on and the door it open.
4. Not buzz when my lights are on and the door is shut without the key on "run".

Basically, I want it to chime when the keys are in the ignition but the truck isn't running, and when the lights are on and the door is open. I don't want to forget the key is in the ignition or that my lights are on when I open the door to get out.

Can this be done?

I broke off the "KEY" and the "IGN" terminals. Now it doesn't buzz when the key is in the ignition and the door is open, or when I turn the ignition on to run the stereo with the door open. If I leave my lights on it will chime. Exactly what I wanted.

Hope this helps some of ya!

just did the same...worked perfectly. may just pull it all together though...i have hid's so i need my eyes checked if i dont see them still on lol

I did exactly this and it buzzes when the lights are on %100 of the time... like when you turn the lights on... you turn the buzzer on too...

Ya, it does that on mine too after I followed those steps, until I put on my seatbelt, then the lights on/buzzing stops.

BTW, that reminds me. How do you stop the not wearing seatbelt buzzing when the lights are on with the key/ign mod? SB? There are two SB's.

Thanks.
