struts

Is there any reason why someone can't put regular struts on an autoride system with z55 if they plan on bypassing the system anyway? Monroe and Moog both offer a quick strut as a replacement for regular struts. Caps are available to bypass message center. It appears to me that the numbers all cross except if one would want to keep electronic shocks. My only question ws the springs not being heavy enough for the 6.2 but the same number is used for 5.3.

ive done it a lot. Just keep the springs you have and change out the struts. I do the belltechs on many autoride trucks then use resistors and done no issues
