stupid door chime

Is there a way to unhook the door open chime on 2000 yukon? Hate that f-ing chime.

do like what i did, pull out the switch in the door. and cut the tan wire. it will allow your dome light and alarm/keyless entry to still work but will not sound the door chime.

under the dash there is a box with a bunch of wires going into it..just above your feet. pull this box down and open it up. you will see a round silver piece in there..that is the chime..just pull it off the circuit board and no more chime..very simple..

heres the box. you just remove the heater duct(it just slides out and unclips)


open it up and find this, and just wiggle it off..doesnt hurt anything..no clipping wires or anything
