Sorry only option is to replace the entire multi-switch/control stalk unit. About $175 for a delco unit. And you partially disassemble the steering column. On the plus side you get all new switches for hazard/turn/cruise with bright new labeling legends. You have a tilt column or not?

I've had the same problem for quite a while...did the old school of wedging something between the hazard and column plastics to get it turn off. Sunlit, do you have a link to the multi-switch unit?

I believe all of the 99 Tahoes have tilt steering.

WAIT! you should be able to pull the hazard switch out of the turn signal assembly. have done its a couple times as i have broken a few with the dash bezel in the sonoma (uses the exact same turn signal switch as the full size trucks.)

UNLESS they changed it in the later years OBS trucks (mine are 95 and 96's) the tilt switch assembly fit just fine on my non tilt column as well.
