Why the tape around where console was? Is it just for reference when mounting stuff so you know where your working within? I didn't tape but can see the lines in the carpeting. Hoping I didn't make a mistake there. About to drop a jl 900/5 in the same spot. Did you just screw the amp into the floor? Thanks and looks good man. If I didn't have hybrid and had captains in back would do exactly this.

Mcopco, Yes the tape was just for a reference point. I mounted my amp to the plastic vent that runs through the center console with screws. May not be the best option but it is very secure and worked for me.

Will you take a pic of the stock sub wiring harness you tapped in for the LOC? Just wondering which wires I need to tap in for the signal. Where did you come through the fire wall for your power wire? Thanks!

I do not have a picture of this which I regret because this was one of my questions before I started this mod. The stock Bose sub is a dual voice coil so it has 4 wires connected to it. When you take out the sub just take the wires of the subs terminals and test them for signal. I used the solid color wires not the striped. I connected the wires to my LC2i using crimp connectors and spare wire. I hope that this makes sense, if not just let me know and I can explain further. Maybe even pop out the cup holder if needed.

I just got mine in over the holiday weekend and haven't even secured it. It doesn't slide much but certainly not safe of I had to do some evasive maneuvers or was in an accident. The vent is a great idea I don't want to screw into the car really.

Just wondering about where & how you brought the power wire through the firewall. I really don't want to drill any holes in it.

Also, is there a write up on removing the center console?

I'm going to try & build a similar box & it seems like removing the console will at some point be helpful for wiring everything together.

My 2010 has some sort of humming noise that is created when my subs come on. It apparently has been interacting with noise cancellation feature in the Denali package and it's a difficult fox from what I can tell. Anyone else run into this?
