I picked up a lot of suede on my vacation so now I want to do my headliner and interior. Is Dap HHR the best glue for interior? Where I live it gets really hot (100+) and really cold (0) so I need a glue that will have everything last a long time. I am going to be doing the pillars myself but how much $ should I pay for a shop to do my headliner and visors if I take them the headliner out and the suede to them? I have a NNBS Yukon XL. Any info I would greatly appreciate it. Car show is coming up in my area so I want to be ready by the end of this month.

Thanks I will look into that glue. Does anybody know how much would it cost for me to take in the suede and headliner to a upholstery shop and have them do it?

Cant help with price, but shouldnt be to much when you have the supplies. Just basically remove and re-install it.. Snaps some pics of the progress. I want to do suede.

shop by me did my friends escalade for 400. and he didnt have any materials. granted it was a hook up price i went to high school with him. so idk if that helps lol either way shouldn't be much and if you got the suede with the foam backing its not that hard to do yourself. ive done headliners before, and ordered my materials and am waiting for them to come in to do mine

Well someone locally professional upholstery is going to do my headliner and visors for $200 because its a friend of a friend. He uses the DAP HHR glue and he guaranteed his work for it not to fall off for at least 3 years. Also what do you guys think he quoted around $150 or little less for inserts on each seat? I have the material he would just put it on. He has done many custom jobs for the local car clubs from hot rods to lowriders so he knows what he is doing. Will keep you guys updated.

is it the perforated suede or regular flat suede? the same friend did the perforated suede. and it looks more stock and works better with the seat warmer, and cooler. something to consider if you have these extras.

its not the perforated suede. But thanks for the infor will look into it. I had never thought of that. My yukon is getting taken apart today then through out the week dynamat, suede headliner, pillars, door panels and ready for the car show on saturday. will take some pics and post them on here when done. Doing the seats at later time since not enough time for it to be ready with seat inserts done for the show.
