Here is what I decided to go with on my 2013 Tahoe LT:

- 2.5" Rough Country leveling kit.
- Nitto Terra Grappler tires bought from a friend of FiatDale
- 22" KMC D2s Gloss Black.

Ill have to post some better pictures later but this is what I got so far.

Pretty happy with the turnout.

That texas emblem is awfully distracting. Did they really make a "Texas Edition" Tahoe? I thought that was reserved for some lucky Silverados?

Every GM fullsize in TX is a "Texas Edition" or will be within its lifetime.

My thought is to do black rims with some chrome accents. I think eventually I will want to completely black it out but I think I will "wean" off of the chrome and slowly remove the chrome accents.

I was thinking something like this for my wheels and putting on some 285/65/20 tires. Thoughts on these rims? Thoughts on the tire size?

Thanks for the warm welcome. Can't wait to get started.

Welcome again from Houston, you should have a lot of fun with the truck, the wean-off-of-chrome approach is a good idea, gives u a chance to keep the look changing and find out how you really want it to look in the end.

i dont think you can fit 285/65/20 (~34.5") under a 2" leveling kit tho. if more tire/sidewall is what your looking for you could easily do 18" wheels and 285/65/18 or stick with 20" and go for something like 285/55/20 (~32.5")

imo black wheels already tend to look smaller on the vehicle tho

as far as exhaust, the corsa cat-back systems are awesome

ok so i didn't realize there was a 2nd page to this thread... disregard the above...

I already put the leveling kit on. I think the trucks looks like its sitting low in the pics because I had the old wheels/tires in the back of my tahoe. Will strip emblems this weekend and post more pics.

Anyone have a how-to thread link to remove the side emblem readily available?
