If it’s just your fob acting up now, did you open it up and let it dry out?

The fob is fine. It’s the remote access through the GMC app that’s not functioning. Also seem to have lost the controls for the rear a/c? Seat heaters, & entertainment system. This was one of the wettest areas so that makes sense.
Might have to pull the hvac control and on star modules and dry them as well as the connectors that plug into them.

On star is back now. Any idea how to access the hvac controls?

That surround piece has clips, you need to get a trim tool in around the edges and pry out carefully around the perimeter until they pop loose. Then you’ll see the screws that hold the control in. You should either disconnect the battery or just make sure not to turn the key on while the control is removed.

UPDATE: Everyhting came back to life & is holding up. Had the rear A/C control replaced at the dealer (they said it shorted) $632! Now working with the car wash for reimbursement. Hopefully they don't make it too ******* themselves.
