I vote green. Think outside the box. I am going to paint mine a different color than black just not sure what color yet. If i had green hybrid decals on mine the calipers would be green.

Dear Mr. Soulsea,

Please please please please don't paint the stock calipers green. As previously discussed (and an option that should be in this poll), you should do these:

http://www.andysautosport.com/chevr...o/brakes/caliper_covers/mgp/mgpc00210969.html

And paint them either Hybrid Green with Silver letters outlined in black that spell "HYBRID" OR... paint them Silver with HYBRID written in green with a thin black outline.

All in favor...

The most logical choice is SILVER .

But SILVER will require a lot of maintenance.

How about painting them black with green HYBRID letters? Might look good

ScSS, Edgar ... funny you guys should mention this.

I sent an email last night to http://www.calipercovers.com/_e/14004/product/14004-S-CUS-/Custom_Made_Caliper_Covers.htm asking them about doing a gloss black caliper cover with the word hybrid in green. I also asked them if they could engrave it so it follows the curvature of the caliper as opposed to straight.

Waiting to hear back but if this is possible it will be the perfect solution since it would reflect the theme of the truck being mostly black with a soupçon of green. :)

I actually think the Black with Green Hybrid writing as its on your truck would look slick. I approve. :Handshake:

The other (and cheaper) option of course would be to simply get gloss black covers and get four of the green adhesive Hs from the badging and apply them. Although I'm not sure how well the 3M adhesive will stay on long term on caliper covers. Do these things get hot or are they far enough from the friction point to stay attached?

they should be fine. I honestly don't think that just sticking an H on there is really going to look good. I'd run the whole Hybrid name. Would look slick!

Another option would be to order them in Black and have them airbrushed and cleared. Would give it a 3-Dimension look with some slick brushing.
