first post! people

im thinking in buying a magnasun supercharger for my tahoe 2009 LT, but my questions are how many miles can the 6L80 work with the blower?

also are any upgrade intake for the supercharger? or only use the stock air box

and last, you recomend any cooling upgrade? (trans cooler, oil cooler, thersmostat, etc)

thanks

I have a TVS2300 on my Denali, no issues with the transmission so far. I didn't upgrade the intake, the kit comes with an intake tube that fits up to your stock box.

I would not run an aftermarket thermostat, but you might consider running meth if you have poor gas quality in your area. I am running a Snow Performance Progressive kit on mine.

The octane is important, but we have definitely seen some pretty poor quality premium gas.

it depends on what standerd the the fuel is rated with either RON MON or AKI
our fuel in the US is rated by the AKI standerd other countrys like in central and south american us the RON standerd wich is 4 - 5 points lower then our fuel
so there 95 octane is basically like our 87 octane

Hmm, do you have access to E85? If your truck is a FlexFuel vehicle, E85 does offer some cooling and 'octane' boost due to the presence of the alcohol. That might be an alternative fuel source. Otherwise, you may be risking it supercharging that 5.3.
