I have been thinking about this as well. I have HP tuners and would be willing to pay for a tune. I think it's a combo of lazy throttle and torque management. But man sometimes it is severe.I'd be curious to see if a tune by Diablosport or BB would fix this. Good luck getting the dealer to do that but I did the DS Intune and it really addressed the throttle lag and other annoyance's. I'm sure at this point you just want it fixed but thought about what I noticed with the throttle when test driving. After the tune, the throttle is completely different. Just a thought outside of the "dealer" box.

GM engineer drove mine for over an hour with the laptop hooked up to it. Turns out it needs a transmission and a torque converter. Exactly what I told them from day one. It's now on order. Should be here in a week or two.
So they are fixing yours and not buying it back?GM engineer drove mine for over an hour with the laptop hooked up to it. Turns out it needs a transmission and a torque converter. Exactly what I told them from day one. It's now on order. Should be here in a week or two.
It seems like at times the clutch apply pressure in the transmission is not high enough to take the torque so the clutches slip and shudder? Like they should be running a higher clutch apply pressure at lower rpms = higher psi... Also seems exacerbated at higher tranny temps (>170F). Might also be because of manufacturing tolerances and internal transmission leakage.
