So they are fixing yours and not buying it back?

They are fixing it and offering me a buyback. New trans got installed yesterday. They want to drive it for a day or two before I pick it up. They also started the buyback process. They said they had to fix the problem either way.

They have been great about the entire process. So far I am very happy with their handling of the issue.

Do you notice yours was worse in cold weather?
Mine seems to not be as noticeable in the warmer weather.
I can't wait to see what happens when I try to pull something heavy.....

Yes. It is more noticeable in cold weather. From the GM Engineer.... The problem is that the tranny is not getting enough pressure from the fluid during certain operations.

My guess is...... Since tranny fluid expands when warm..... This is my guess as to why it is more noticeable when it is cold.

I haven't messed with my Trans tuning with the Diablosport in the Tahoe but if I recall the 4L60e had adjustments for line pressures in the Silverado tuning. I'm wondering if they can program that in the TCM at the dealer with the 6L80?

I will say I do not notice this at all with my Diablew tune. Just curious if it might help.

Mikef,
How did you get the GM engineer involved. My dealership is pretty much ignoring the issue. Saying we will have to wait for a new software to become available to address the issue.
I am at the point of contacting GM customer service but that is also painful.
Would you be willing to provide your VIN number to me so my dealership can review your service history? If not I understand. Can you please PM me either way.
Thanks
