Just curious if anyone with a 21 or 22 Yukon has swapped out their fixed running boards for the retractable ones. My 21 Denali XL diesel is mostly loaded but I didn't end up with those boards. In the snow, the fixed ones build up a lot of muck on them.

I looked into it and it's about 3k if you have the correct wiring harness in yours. I called AMP and they are supposed to have theirs out in a few months. Will most likely still get the factory moldings so the amp steps sit flush.

I haven't crawled under to look. Mine was built on 2/21. Can you let me know where to check?

Just my .02 but the retractable boards are just a nuisance in the long run. No matter how well you maintain them they will eventually fail or stick or struggle to go up and down. I have had them on a number of trucks and have them on my '22 Denali (only because the packages that I outfitted required they be added). When the time comes, they will get removed and replaced with stationary ones. I'd suggest a set of mud flaps, that should help with the build up.
