In these vehicles (Tahoe/Escalade/Yukon), there are 8 bolts sticking up on the floor for the 2nd row seats.

In bucket seats: The Driver side just gets fastened down to the four on the driver side, and the passenger side seat gets fastened to the four bolts on that side.

On the bench seats (60/40): FIRST The Passenger side is fastened with the four bolts, and then SECOND the Driver side (Heavy sumbich) gets placed on the four bolts on the driver side, but it also goes on (2) smaller bolts that are on the passenger side seat.

I hope I made that clear enough..

NOTE: If you do swap, be sure (if you care about small details) to get all the plastic covers for the bolts, as well as the folding things(?) for behind the seats when you fold the seats down.

I understood it. Thanks. Will follow up when completed.

Also, do you have any idea if the bench seat plastic covers work for the buckets? Thanks.

I did this swap a few years ago because I didn't like the captains chairs. None of the plastic covers are interchangeable. Whatever vehicle you get your seat out of be sure to get everything, seat belts, covers, brackets, etc. Not much will interchange between the bench or captains chairs, but the whole swap is a bolt in affair. There is no drilling or mods needed.

Thanks for the heads up!

What is the RPO code for 2nd row buckets in Neutral color leather? I think it will make my search on eBay more refined. Also, there are four cables that I assume unlock the bench seat back so it can fold forward and lay flat...1 is missing and two have broken hooks so they don't stay put in the bracket when the bottom is tilted forward. How do I unlatch them and do the cables have part numbers?

Is the vehicle in the picture a pre 2007 Yukon/Tahoe? I have a 2010 and don't have rear bolts. The seats just sort of hook on. I really want a bench seat but it seems like they really don't just swap out....

I don't believe the NBS (00-06) are swappable with NNBS (07-14).
