I have another customer that wants an Escalade wheel in his Tahoe. Does anyone know if it'd gain the bluetooth function? The old wheel doesn't have the button for it but the new one does. The Tahoe does have the mic in the headliner though... Thoughts? I know I'd have to do a little wiring and clockspring for the heated wheel to function. Thanks in advance.

that's not a mic in the headliner that is temperature sensor, the mic would be in the center overhead console where the reading lights are located, I believe you would also need the bluetooth module which should be either built into a onstar module or would be a separate module right next to it. once you added all the components it would likely also need to be programmed in with a tech2 not completely sure on that. some model years may be different but in my 2012 the factory bt mic is in the overhead console.
your probably better off going with a aftermarket head unit anyway.

Perfect. Thanks for the knowledge! That's all I needed. He just wants the steering wheel either way, but hoped the rest would work out.
