So im trying to figure if this is an easy fix or not. 04 tahoe LT i open the door locks from either the driver side or passenger side and nine times out of ten the rear doors dont unlock. They will lock but not unlock. Yesterday i went to open the skylight and the switch didnt work. I tryed it 2 more times and on the 4 th it opened up. I was like shit it better close! Luckily it did, but what if it doesnt.

This is the most challenging truck i have ever owned!

I'd be checking harness connections for the switches and make sure they are clean and making good contact! Switches can get worn out but I'm guessing it's a bad connection on the lock switch and could either be a bad connection or a worn out switch on the sunroof!

Are these inside the door? As simple as prying the whole unit out of the door. I think that was how my obs came out. Also i cant figure out how to save the driver 1 settings. I go into the dic and do all the settings for driver 1. Seat mirrors rado and somehow it doesnt save it. Manuel doesnt give any help either.

Thanks for the help

Do you have the memory buttons on the drivers door? If so set everything where you want it to be, and hold down the #1 button until you you hear the door chime. That should do it. If you dont have those switches, I have no idea how to set he memory.
Good luck!

Big B is correct, but mine doesn't make a beep or chime in my truck when I set the memory seat but if you at least hold it in for a couple seconds it should do the trick!!
As for the switches, the drivers window switch just pops out, just grab the side that faces inside the truck and lift up, there are 2 snaps there. As for the sunroof switch, just take out the screws on the assembly on the roof where the switch is at and I think it will pop off of the roof at that point, there you will have access to it!

Actually, on a 03-06 you have to take the door panel off to remove the switches from behind. They only pop out on the 00-02 trucks. 03 and up they are screwed in from behind. You will break it if you try to just yank it off.
