System update question?

Anyone out there do a system update yet? Mine just popped up on the screen when I got home from a 100 mile road trip. It says it will take an hour so I will put a trickle charger on the battery just in case it takes longer. I don't want to run my battery down during an update. Just wondering if folks have completed any updates on the 2021s and if they had any issues.

UPDATE------ I survived the update with no know issues. I'll take it for a test drive soon. It took just over an hour to complete and no battery drain since I had the vehicle on the battery charger

The update will not start if the battery is below 70% state of charge if I remember correctly.

Did not notice anything different and all seems well on todays road trip

My 2020 Colorado updated several times during the year I owned it. I never made any special efforts and experienced no problems with battery drain.

Is there a way to see a list of previous updates for your vehicle? How do you know if you have the most current?

You can go into the settings through the screen interface in your rig. Somewhere in there, there will be a place to check for updates and it will show you the current version. I messed with it back in February, and I do remember seeing it. Sorry I cannot be more specific right now.

Update was just sent to my vehicle a couple of days ago. It failed twice, noting the vehicle conditions were not acceptable. I'm thinking it may have been too cold out. I was able to install this morning.

I have no idea what was updated at this point.
