Software update that must be performed at a dealership

I called Onstar 2x and they said I needed to take it back in to the dealership. Does that sound right?
If everything was fine before the dealership did an update, and now things aren't working properly after the update, then of course you should take it back to the dealership.

Yes, I just called this morning to schedule a follow up appointment. Obviously just a hassle to not have a car for a day and have to coordinate transportation, etc. Hopefully they can figure out what went wrong.

I would tell others to hold off on doing the recall until this stuff gets resolved.
