Tahoe Drop from Autoride to Non

So here's my result. Not sure if my front shocks were bad, but my before measurements were about an inch or so lower than what most start off at. So not sure by looking at the pictures how much this drop is considered. Also want to go lower another inch in the front. Like the rake look more.

Also need to do the free travel mod badly. It rides great, but man when I hit dips on the road, it's a loud bang. Anyone know of a place in NYC that can get this done?

Results:
Before - After
FL: 35" - 33 1/2"
FR: 35 3/4" - 33 1/4"

RL: 37 1/4" - 33 1/4"
RR: 37 1/2" - 33 3/4"

Front:
- McGaughy drop shocks
- McGaughy Spindle
- Belltech Alignment Kit

Back:
- Belltech 5305 Springs at 4in.
- McGaughys drop shocks
- DJM Hardware kit

Still need to install:
- Helper bags
- Spohn Panhard bar
- Free travel mod
- Disable Autoride completely. Pulled fuse for now.

That looks great, exactly what I just did to mine. I've gotta do the free travel mod and I'm ordering the spohn bar today. Which fuse did you pull? When I first got the Tahoe I replaced the rear shocks with non airride ones and did the resistor trick and it worked. When I finally got around to lowering it I did the resistors in the front but it didn't work

On my 08 Burb the fuse to pull is in the underhood fuse block and is fuse #58 (square green fuse in upper right corner if you are standing beside the truck reaching over the drivers front fender) it is marked ALS/Comp or ALC/Comp or something like that.

So I ended putting back the Autoride shocks in the rear because it was sitting a bit lower in the back and constantly hitting the bumpstops. Haven't done the travel mod, but it rides really good now and only sometimes hits.

Also installed my wheels. Rides really good and just rubs on full turn in the front.

It rides really good to be hones. I was surprised it almost feels stock.

The wheels are Factory Reproductions and bought them from The YETI and the tires I ordered from eBay. They're called Carbon Series CS98. They were really cheap, but are actually really good tires by Parrish Tire Company: http://www.ebay.com/usr/parrishtirecompany?_trksid=p2047675.l2559

I kinda wish I went bigger but wanted the extra sidewall for these crappy Michigan roads. Same wheel? From NorCalSS... Mine are 22 x 9 (285/45)
