I'm assuming these vehicles interior lights run in some kind of circuit. My Tahoe has an aftermarket DVD player, it was installed by the original owner. I don't mind having it, although I'll probably never use it. To the point There are lights in the DVD player, but they only work when you flip the switch, and it doesn't work with the interior lights. My issue is that the lights in the back of the truck don't work when the door is open (I have a nice stereo and it sucks having to push the buttons on and off every time) Also on weekends i end up having people in the back seat and they can never see anything when they're getting in. I'm wondering if the original centre ceiling light is important to the functioning of the entire roof lighting system? I know none of my bulbs are burnt out, and the map lights work as well as the door lights when the doors open.
I'm just wondering if I need to hack the crap out of my DVD player so I can get some light going on in my vehicle without flipping switches and pushing buttons all the time.
Thanks Guys,
Dan
