sounds like your tps is skewed a bit. or you have a fluid circuit leak. what gear to gear?

110 stock

about 140 according to my buddy in the C5 I was pulling away from

105 with a 24 ft enclosed trailer with my vette tires tools in it at about 8k.

The 502, 4L80 and 4.10's might have helped.

The C5 took the 200 shot of nitrous.

and on current tahoe PPV's

06 2wd 128 and it was scary, my limited was much happier

10 2wd 129 and not as scary as the 06

Any speed limiter would be a function of the tires speed rating AND the driveshaft. Don't think I would want to,go 140 in a tahoe with a factory driveshaft, don't know, if the ppvs have a different one. Some of ou may remember the issues with the '11 mustang 3.7ls when guys statprted removing the speed limiters. Luckily know one was killed by the flying driveshafts.

my limited i know goes over 100. only once i had the needle burried but then again im on 22s and im pretty sure it hasnt been recalibrated. but believe me...she'll move. pretty much all stock other than system and wheels.....for now. but i promise you this....it wasnt cutting off at 100.

Hello all!! I realize old posts but I just acquired a 99 Chev Tahoe 2WD Z56 from central California. 93K original miles
and formerly used it's entire life with the FD as a staff command unit. Looking forward to further research and meeting new friends on this forum. Will post pics after I return from vacation.
